Life Teen Catholic Youth Minister Training Convention was an amazing experience. When I think back, I can genuinely say the event changed my life. From the training sessions which began at 7:30AM and ended at 9:00 PM; to the masses and adoration done with worship music the experience was one of a kind. Then, that is the way Life Teen does things. I am extremely proud to be an official Life Teen Youth Minister and prouder to say that Saint Patrick is an official Life Teen Parish.
 
I am also proud to have Barbara Hooper and Justin Alt as my Core Team members. I am confident that we will accomplish amazing things with the youth.
 
Life Nights that is was the meetings are called will be amazing and Life Socials are geared to develop fellowship and stewardship within the youth.
 
Life Teen has different programs for the teens. They host six different Youth Conferences each summer with the hopes of inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys with Christ. These weekend conferences are evangelistic in nature and offer a deep and moving experience of prayer and fellowship.
 
There are week long summer camps in Georgia, Texas and California. These summer camps help teen deepen their prayer life, take ownership of their faith, grow in community with friends, and breakdown anything holding them back while experiencing outdoor activities.
 
Life Teen hosts a Leadership Conference for Youth. It is a five day leadership training that takes place at Benedictine College in Kansas. It is not a full week but the results will last forever. Top Juniors and Seniors are encourage to attend.
 
There are also Life Teen masses which I am in the process of developing although this will take a little longer.
 
I feel that Life Teen is the inspiration that renews the youth and at the same time the entire parish community. Life Teen’s inspiring music, challenging Life Nights, engaging Life Socials and liturgies are an overwhelming joy for the parish specially the youth which is the future of the church.
