Sunday, August 21 marked one year since the flood in 2021 which devastated our community and claimed the lives of 20 residents. Events were held throughout the weekend in memory and honor of the victims and survivors who are still rebuilding their lives. Our parish is blessed to have Father Zack Kirangu, the Dominican Sisters, and local chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society who support our community.

Barbara Hooper and Eddie Bozeman have been selected to receive the 2022 DSC Emerging Leaders Award by the Disaster Services Corp Society of St. Vincent de Paul.   They will be recognized at the Annual Conference in September.
