The first  born of four boys and native of Kenya, Fr. Zachaeus Munyao Kirangu was ordained by the Diocese of Mandeville, Jamaica W.I. in 2003.
He was schooled at Kibwezi Primary school in Kenya, Apostle of Jesus Minor Seminary-Uganda, Catholic University of East Africa- Kenya, Pontifical Urbaniana University, Rome and the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, Jamaica West Indies where he  received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Sacred Scripture.

Fr. Zack is proficient in English, Greek translation, Kiswahili, Taita and Kamba.  He has also worked as a Catechist, Drug Addiction Counselor, Chaplain, and teacher.
